How to setup account for your blog(s) on Typepad

Post2Blog is a desktop blogging client. You can add new posts, manage existing posts in different blogs of various types including Typepad blogs

Post2Blog supports a typepad engine and you can create an account to add new posts, manage existing posts in  your typepad blog(s).

This is a quick start tutorial: how to add setup account in Post2Blog for use with Typepad

Run Post2Blog

Go to File menu and click New item in Account sub-menu:

New Account Wizard will start. Select Existing blog and click Next

Select the Typepad blog type and click Next

Now enter the login/username you use to login into your Typepad account and click Next

Change connection Proxy settings is your Internet connection uses proxy and click Next to continue

The next page contains file and images uploading settings for account. 

By default images and files are uploaded into a typepad blog via blog engine. However you can change it to FTP uploading option if you prefer to use direct FTP uploading. Check Setup FTP uploading settings for account topic for FTP settings information.

Click Next button to continue

Enter the title for the new account and click Next

Click Finished to close the wizard:

Editor window will appear with the new account selected by default
